Wyoming Game Week Thread - Saturday at some ungodly time

There were some Wyoming fans a few seats to our left and a row down. Two of ‘em were **** faced and at least 3 times got up in the middle of play and crossed in front of us to head up to Balch. Each time they returned with tall boys in each hand. They were **** faced but nice enough.

I’m thinking the BYU fans will be a little, uh, less drunk? 😆

But more obnoxious?

Had some CU fans down the row from me that were putting away multiple beers. At about $15 a beer they must have spent a few hundred on what would have cost them $30 in a liquor store.

I don’t understand why people would spend a lot of money, in most cases, then proceed to get hammered at sporting events. Beers at any sporting event is EXPENSIVE, at least $15 a cup. I enjoy a beer but man, some dudes really love beer I guess.

Much more reasonable to get hammered at the tailgate before the event then use the game time to sober up for the trip home. ;)

I really don’t ever drink at sporting events or concerts. A) I don’t like beer and just downing straight bourbon for 4 hours is brutal, 2) expensive as ****, d) the lines are long as hell, iv) I would end up not drinking enough water and feel like ****.

It's been a while since I was or went to a sporting event drunk. I will have a drink or two but not enough to be intoxicated.

Mixed drinks actually make more sense if you are going to drink. Putting away tall boys one after another generally means that you spend a good part of the game standing in line waiting to relieve pressure at the through.

You pregame hard, sneak in a flask, and maybe splurge for a $7 coke to use as a mixer.

This. Stadium concessions gouge you anyway, but they are REALLY aggressive about gouging for alcohol for obvious reasons.
