Stanford over SC for conference title. The Trees are going to have some good seasons with McCaffery in the backfield regardless of who the QB is. And one of their guys will be good enough to get it done under center.

I like the Pirate to surprise again and jump in ahead of Cal . Was he coach at Tech when the so called "Texas Gunslinger" was recruited? If so he will know how to beat him and Cal never lives up to expectations anyway.

pretty unsure where to rank anyone below USC/UCLA in the south and anyone below the top 3 in the north.

FWIW (not much), Colin Cowherd has Utah as a preseason top 10 team and predicted them to win the Pac 12.

10. Utah
9. LSU
8. Iowa

Damn that's a lot of praise for them. They are really good up front though so you never know.

Michigan is getting a ton of love right now and I don't know if they are going to be able to live up to it.

Michigan's Rivals Recruiting Rankings:
2012: 7th
2013: 5th
2014: 31st
2015: 51st
2016: 4th

They should have enough talent to be Top 10. Where they are going to struggle is the next 2 years when those RS-Fr, Fr, and So classes become upperclassman. There will be a youth movement at that point.

Maybe, it's hard to grade those Hoke recruiting classes especially considering those weren't even the best recruiting classes in their own division while Meyer was at tOSU. Were they recruiting enough speed on the outside as well like Harbaugh has done in his first two classes hitting Florida and Georgia.

Michigan will have a great litmus test on September 17th... We'll know more about their playoff prospects after that game...

don't understand why everyone has asu so low? Is it out of hate? I can't stand them either, but they got some talent/experience on their roster.

They were not a good football team last year, and that was with a pretty good QB. Their usually good def gave up big plays left and right. They return 1 starter each on their OL and in their secondary.

Also lost a really good offensive coordinator and line coach.
