Official ****braska Hate Thread

As Nebraska faithful go through their stages of depression, I worry about overwhelming sense of fatigue and frustration among their fan base.

More specifically, do we have to worry about any food shortages?

Every post-loss presser from Frost, the message is: “look, we did everything we could as coaches. We have outcoached and outcoached every opponent. But these soft losers keep making mistakes. The previous staff screwed us over.”

I think it's gonna take longer than I thought it would, if he can fix it at all? Their qb position is a mess. If Martinez can't go, they have really zero behind him. I hope Frosty never fixes it.

You worry a lot.

It isn't going to get better for them soon.

They have nothing at QB after Martinez. Anyone looking at them knows that Martinez could be the man the next three years. They don't recruit quality depth and Martinez keeps getting pounded into the turf so never plays close to a full season.

Couple of lols here:

Saying they get a winnable game next week against Purdue. Probably 100% true, but holy smokes didn’t you learn your lesson about calling opponents “inferior”?

More blaming of soft, fat losers for not buying in. He even says at one point, (paraphrasing) “Harbaugh has his guys so it was easy peasy.”

Holy **** I can’t believe the complete lack of accountability he is showing through their worst start in like 60 years. That is some next level arrogance, and if I was a recruit, I would immediately be done with that program.

Yeah, he’s going all in on himself. This season is going to make recruiting a lot more difficult than it otherwise even would have been. He ain’t recruiting in central Florida anymore. It’s the bum-f__k central plains. If he strings together a couple bad seasons as he ‘gets his guys’, it could end epically badly for him.

Telling your team they aren't your guys is an interesting strategy.

this is how embree and eb lost the team here. exactly. if you tell the guys that you have but didn't recruit that they aren't tough enough, athletic enough, etc., then they will believe you, especially when you start young guys you recruited and who are clearly making mistakes ahead of guys that you didn't recruit.

Compare that with how MacIntyre rebuilt the culture at CU. He honored every single recruit who had committed to the previous staff and didn't run anyone off. In fact, he even stuck his neck out to bring back some players he inherited who violated team or university rules and he had to kick off the team. Even with that, it didn't solve every issue in the locker room of "MM guys vs JE guys" and it was a problem in 2017. How much worse is that going to be when you intentionally divide the locker room instead of embracing every guy in the room as your guys?

A lot of blame on the players, what a cluster
