Welcome young Buff!!!!!

I'm guessing it's been stated already, but I'm not about to read through 11 pages of posts to find out...I hope Tuck can leverage this to get more highly ranked recruits in here. This could be pivotal. If the 2020 QB we have coming in can start (as I hold out little hope Lytle and Stenstrom are any better than SM), next year may be a better year...but it could it be worse?

I know there are more important parts of that gif but the red has always pissed me off. This seems like a good enough reason to make a grayscale version.

See it's no longer there, and hear ya on the red. With a rack like that, she can wear whatever damn color she wants, though. :D

NCAA will prolly make him sit out 2 seasons since he signed with CU.
...that and reduce CU's scholly count by 2 for three years and grant Utah, Arizona and ASU six immediate waivers for eligibility for transfer players.

#28 recruit in '19?

Espin should give up on recruit rankings and ratings.

Might be a topic for another thread. But I noticed that and found that odd, that’s a huge discrepancy between ESPN and the other rankings. I never really look at the top 100 recruits so I don’t know if this is something that generally happens but yeah, big discrepancy there.

I'll defer to the guys that football recruiting more intimately, but I don't really think ESPN's ranking is egregious. In bball, sure, you have guys that everyone has top 5 or 10, but there are some guys that can vary from top 25 to top 50. It's a little less these days, because there seems to more streamlined information and opinions. But, in the old days when Van Coleman, Bob Gibbons, Clark Francis, Brick Oettinger, etc would put out their own reports, their evaluations could vary significantly. I think CU's Jose Winston was averaged to be a top 100 recruit, bc one of them (I think Coleman) gave him a 51st ranking, while most had him just outside the top 100.

Bball is just 5 positions, and football of course has much more, making overall rankings that much more difficult. So, 247 has him overall 1, Rivals had him 5, and ESPN has him 28. I don't think that's too crazy. Regardless, we got someone that everyone thinks is a high-impact, major prospect. I get ESPN's recruiting services may suck in general, but I'll take their 28th ranked guy any day.

I like the momentum this creates. I hope Tucker can build on it.

I think there is more to the story with this guy and hope he actually sees the field in uniform. Guys rarely walk away from Bama.

Do we know when we will know he will be eligible in ‘20?
No clue. Does the NCAA take these cases as they come or during some sort of periodic meetings? Is there a committee or does an individual make the determination?
