As a Utah fan, I feel like I must apologize to all of you for what we have wrought on your message board. We take full responsibility for driving BYU fans insane over the past 8 years but we didn't know it would leak out into the wild. All I can do is offer some advice:

1) When reading their diatribes, try not to spit beer onto your goatee.
2) Realize that their "calling" is always superior to your own. Their "holier than thou" act is because they truly believe that they are... "holier than thou".
3) Recognize that NOTHING is their fault. We have lost every game to them this decade when you subtract their penalties and turnovers.
4) No matter what they say, there is always a glaring and obvious example of why they are wrong. That does not mean that they will accept it.
5) Research and logic aren't strengths of their university nor are they strengths of their fanbase. You simply can't argue with "God said so", so don't try.

What BYU fans won't tell you is that their revenue sports (basketball and football) are in full decline and their reputation amongst knowledgeable fans can only be saved by dragging others down. (Seems pretty Christian, doesn't it)?

Leaving BYU in the rear-view mirror has been the greatest development in the history of Utah football. I know I speak for an entire fanbase when I say that having Colorado on the schedule is FAR more enjoyable and a trip to Boulder is infinitely superior than driving 45 miles to Provo.

I hope Saturday is a great game, that nobody gets injured and that our rivalry continues to evolve into a classic.

Good luck Buffs, with the game and the inevitable infiltration of TDS morons. Because if they can't beat them, they will inevitably try to join them.

We're used to this kind of stuff. We get it all the time from the one Fusker troll we still have who won't admit we ruined their program.

Yeah but some of those 80’s Lavell Edwards teams were really good. They gave the WAC/MWC a lot of credibility. It would be better for western football if they returned to being a great

Maybe we should swap Nebr / ybu some year and see if the opposing fan experience is even noticeable? They never lose. It was always those 'daggum refs' and turnovers. Of course no opposing team has ever earned a turnover from them. I mean other than the uniform colors and perhaps girth of husker dude ...

They're not ever going to win more than 8 games as an independent-but I agree with your post. I generally root for them because they wind up playing 2-4 Pac 12 teams a season (I think we're the only Pac 12 school they haven't played or scheduled since this league went to 12 teams). When they're good, our league gets a huge bounce from it.

Daggum refs? We hear that from CSU (more so when we use our clowns) as much as Fusker. We don't have any OOC openings for a decade-but y'all should do a home and home with them just to see if they're everything we make them out to be lol.
 
Now that its Thanksgiving, we all need to act with some class and respect. I'm also detecting that many of you don't think you can beat the Yewts come Saturday. But there's a whole other angle to consider.

Look at this interesting take on Cougarboard. It could be divine intervention that keeps the Yewts out of the playoff. If so, that's another thing going in your favor this week, help from above.

Nebraska fans will admit they lost, but they'll keep their arrogant high ground by immediately claiming that the fanbase of the opposing team is classless and shameful, which they'll back up with unprovable allegations of hooliganism and borderline criminal activity. There has never been a Husker fan that has come to Boulder and not had his car keyed, head hit with batteries, body soaked in beer/urine/both, grandma pushed down the stairs (seriously, they claim these things happen), and varied examples of drunken bad behavior.

Say what you want about our fan site or our team. But reality hurts. BYU is a more successful program than Colorado and we don't have to live in Dingee Denver or Bummy Boulder. You need marijuana to cope with the Buffs getting their bums kicked in football all the time.
