This comes off as an unnecessary dig. The guy is doing what he needs to in order to feed his family and work his way back up the ladder. I’m not sure why that would be “LOL”.

I hope he has success. He wasn’t the guy to lead the Buffs, but you can never question how genuinely he cared for his players.
Walking directly into the snowstorm, as it were.

i think leach will do what he does well at msu. he'll beat some teams, bowl regularly, etc. it will be fun. the only big question i have is if he will win enough to keep msu fans happy. they have always wanted to be better than they are able to be. i think he should have the team watch a bull being castrated in his first act as head coach there. it would close the circle on msu and high profile hires.

We all choose professions to support our families, Mike chose coaching, you didn’t. I don’t hold it against him that he’s been successful enough to have a very lucrative career. But make no mistake, it’s not an easy job and most people in the field never make it to his level.

You're totally missing my point, but let me say one thing first-I thank FHCMM for his services to the program. We are a better program now than we were then-I've said this already, but a candidate with the resume that Mel Tucker had last year isn't looking at this job in 2012. Having said that, he (or any other coach for that matter) isn't getting any sympathy from me if they have to sit out a season. He's got $7m in the bank from us and he's probably getting a bit of money from Ole Miss on top of whatever Memphis is paying him.

Has anyone asked you to feel sorry for him? All I said is not to begrudge the man.
