URGENT: Please ask me questions!

Why hasn't Tad used a press consistently to make teams work more at altitude and also use up shot clock? Soft press could burn some clock and a press with Roberson and Bey up top, especially with shorter point guards, could have led to turnovers. We need to be doing everything we can to pick up a few points here and there.

You mentioned that Chase Penry was a soft commit in your article about Jimmy Valsin. Do you see him potentially choosing to de-commit or do you see the staff recruiting over him?

A little bit of a reminder... I'll be doing another mailbag tomorrow. I'll answer the questions I haven't yet answered in this thread and whatever else you guys add.

Your best guess, who is our next commitment? What recruit should we be keeping an eye on that we possibly haven’t seen or heard much about?

Is it possible that the SEC plays football on national TV in front of limited audiences in the stadiums this fall while P12 fans are left holding our dicks as P12 institutions play it safe and cancel play altogether?

CU seem to be making the top 3/5/7/10 etc. lists for all these blue-chip players but have not landed any of them. On the one hand, people have argued that it is extremely positive to even be in the conversation, but others (like myself) have argued it is meaningless unless we land them. How are we supposed to feel about recruiting right now?

Oh, I got this one.

I got one, it's probably already been asked, I didn't go back through all of them. How comfortable are the guys to strap it up and play?

Any additional info on what virtual visit looks like? Is it just a zoom meeting? Do we have videos made specifically for this? What is being highlighted. It would be cool if they could take someone in the media or even the fans on one to give more of an inside view.

Thoughts on Miller at Safety? Do you see CU going after any grad transfers at this point? They lack depth at a lot of positions and could use another safety transfer like last year.

Oh, I got this one.

Does it concern you that so few players have committed at this point to CU, especially the kids that were initially recruited by the retained staff? Or do you think There is still 18 months before LOI are signed, the staff is Just building relationships with players and the commitments will come once on campus visits resume or the season gets going?

Hope all of you fathers and non-fathers (are there women on this board?) are having a great Father's Day! Drop your questions. Let's do a mailbag tomorrow.

How many diehard Buff football fans will remain after we sign the worst class in the P12 (based on average stars)?

Most of us are still here after Bitsy gutted the program, here after Hawkins, JE, MM, and being dumped by MT.

The tolerance for disappointment seems to be almost limitless

It’s purely frustrating seeing multiple recruits sign with other teams and witnessing CU drop in the recruiting rankings to embarrassing levels. Karl Dorrell has used the “no excuse” motto when it comes to everything football. He won’t use COVID as an excuse or the dead period associated with it. Dorrell just simply doesn’t seem to have the personality that attracts big time talent. Our 4 commitments have a handful of power 5 options and it feels like we are back to recruiting against the likes of Boise St and Kansas. Rick George wants a championship football program, and I can’t imagine he’s pleased with the recruiting results thus far, COVID or no COVID, especially considering that George emphasized wanting that trait in any new coach. New hires are supposed to bring excitement and energy to a program. Dorrell sounds like a great person but an unenthusiastic recruiter and coach. Mel Tucker may have a been a scumbag, but he emphasized recruiting and then followed through with our highest recruiting class in years. I promise I’m trying to be optimistic, considering Dorrell hasn’t even been able to have a practice with his team, let alone coach a game, but this is ugly. At this point I’m simply counting down the clock on Dorrell. Please change my mind! Where do you see this class being ranked? What should be an expected average in a small class?

Sorry, I have no means of changing your mind. I wish I did.

How soon will the letter writing campaign start demanding CU fire Coach

All of them. They didn't leave during the entire MacIntyre era when CU signed the worst class in the P12 year after year after year.
