Official ****braska Hate Thread

It’s funny because Jojo actually caused a TON of drama in the locker room. 2 summers ago, he went MIA at the start of fall camp. The write-up says it was injury related but he was back in CO looking for a transfer. At the time, he was an often injured tweener who hadn’t really seen the field, so I’m sure his options were slim, and probably worse than slim.

He ended up going back to ****braska and IMMEDIATELY got his starting job back which upset several players on the team (especially because it wasn’t the first time Frost bent over for a player he desperately needed). Domann also tried desperately to leave for the pros this year but I think received some bummer news and ended up returning for a 6th year. It’s why it’s so hilarious hearing the interview about how he made the right decision.
Exactly.

He's a tweener S/OLB who plays hard and is a willing tackler. He likes to gamble and that rewards him with some TFLs, but also some gouger plays. Overall, I don't think he's a guy who'd see the field here at CU. The other guy that this idiot is trying to float past us was a huge miss for Nubs that CU didn't pursue. Such a strong troll job! Not sure UNC-Greeley would take him and eat up the scholarship spot at this point.

4 wins at best - Illinois, Buffalo, Louisiana State and Purdue

I'm supposed to go to the Wisconsin/Notre Dame game at Solider Field. Hopefully COVID things are much better by then
Three, maybe four wins and a ten year contract extension for Scott Frost. He really just needs to install his system, get his players and change the culture there. Every time he thinks he has his players, they transfer someplace else. Has to be horribly frustrating, but I’m certain that if given the appropriate support by the administration, he could get that program to five wins. Just need patience.

Looking forward to seeing how many wins are predicted for the ****ers here.

Wisconsin with only four away games.

Love the team, but UW fans will still bitch about SEC teams playing OOC games late in the year and ACC teams playing an 8 game conference schedule.

7 home, 1 neutral site, 4 away. Also think it’s because of adjustments made to the schedule because of cancelled times this year

That ****braska - Illinois game to open the season is being played in Dublin, Ireland. Would love them to spend the long flight home thinking about an L to Illinois.
What a terrible way to introduce a country to football. I would hope the new administration with their focus on repairing our diplomatic relations will get this moved back to the land of runza.

Hallett beat me to it.

The real losers in this situation are the people of Ireland who will have to put up with a horde of red clad cholesterol ladden, mouth breathing, fuskers who don't fit into the stadium seats, a taxi or bus, or the bathroom stalls in some of the historic buildings running around complaining because they can't get twinkies and super sized fast food.

The other loser is the reputation of the United States which after four years of having an overweight boor in office follows it up by sending the one group of fans most likely to re-enforce all the negative stereotypes.

Just close the US borders at halftime and leave them there.

They played in Runza-raska last year so the game would be played in the Land of Lincoln this year. There's also the option of moving it to Chicago.

You are giving the cobgobbler horde an awful lot credit for being able to figure out how to get a passport.

They are willing to pay to get it done. They are willing to do just about anything to get out of that hellhole in the middle of the feedlots and truckstops.

Then when they get where they are going the locals take their money and make them go back.

I may have to become a betting man for this game. Buffalo cracked top 25 and this is a very solidly built program and well run top to bottom.

Both their top QBs return (at least for the spring) and both have been starters. I'd guess that (as with all well run programs) they will be able to plug and play at other positions, having built depth thru smart talent identification and excellent development.

Those above strengths are exactly where Frost and team has failed.

Buffalo wins outright, even assuming the Cornhole faithful pack the stadium. It will be very quiet either way.

The Buffalo Bulls had 18 senior starters in 2020, so how good they are really depends on how many of those seniors elect to come back for that covid bonus year.

A program like Buffalo likely gets most of them back just so they can travel to Lincoln and beat them

Their RB won't be one of them.

They might have actually beat LSU this year 😬

Maybe if Bo Pelini didn't give a hoot about beating the team that fired him as a HC despite winning at least nine games per season in Lincoln. I know he had questionable behavior at times as the Husker HC but he just simply won. That very much explains why hot and upcoming coaches will not touch that job.

Another fresh reminder how 62-36 broke that program.

Bo was a very sick dude! Old school angry football guy. If winning at ALL costs was worth it, they could have left him, but he was and is a mega douche
