Games thread- (RV) Men's bball scheduled to host #18/19 USC (Thurs., 2/25, 7:00 MT, ESPN2) and (RV) UCLA (Sat., 8:00 MT, ESPN2)

Okay, so what was with all the technical foul calls? Did something happen before the game started? It didn't seem particularly chippy at all. I don't quite get it.

He is right. The refs probably wouldn't have heard whatever was said. They also would have had to deal with the fans themselves...
Yep. Crowd noise would’ve drowned out everything. And the refs wouldn’t have been too popular calling ridiculous T’s against the home team.

Who was it that said they were worried about matching up with Iowa's size? I just find that odd because USC is the longest team in the country, and their size is exponentially more athletic than Iowa's, and we beat them twice.

Yeah. But a loss tonight and, God forbid, against UCLA would’ve made some people, including me, pretty damned nervous.
I don't think it would have been justified. Now, losing tonight, to UCLA, then to ASU, and you could start getting nervous.

Adrian Branch's fake background bookshelf is so lame.
I’ve heard a lot of these people who do Zoom media calls actually hire people to build fake bookshelf backgrounds because it makes them look intelligent or something.
