It never should have gotten to the press before SOMEONE told them. I think it is a Dave Pilati/ RG screw up.
I thought he told the players that he probably wasn’t going to retain any coaches? Sanford seeks like a quality guy and I wish him well. He should be an option for UNC-Greeley. They would benefit from his positivity, his ability to connect with players and their families.
he’s still going to get paid his full salary too which gives him some time to land somewhere this year or next too.
Basically every coach should have been told that they wouldn't be retained.
I tuned in for Adam's live chat and ****ing Maximus is such a tool! I can't listen.

Why the **** are we talking about this? We are under contract to pay him $1.5M over the next couple years.
There are buyouts in this industry for a reason. Not only that......but this team was that ****ING bad. Really hard to feel bad for a group of coaches we paid $12M to go away after what we spent all fall watching.
Move on.

Sure. But being professional, even when you don't have to be, is the decent thing to do. It's a bad look and an unforced error. Treating people well doesn't cost money and can pay dividends down the line.
I was coming at it from how it reflects on CU, not on how badly Ms. Sanford is crying into her barrels of cash.
