Who knows? UW could have come up with some money.

Dad was liking CU stuff about a day ago. Then liked a bunch of UW stuff in the last 24 hours.

Like most decisions we all make, it’s probably a bunch of factors.

But man, can you imagine the media if the AB decommit came before Seaton?

Recruiting WR's is a non issue. Transfer Portal and HS ranks will load CP up every year with guys that are good or better than good. The concern is losing a guy who is Top 100 overall and could be great. I don't like losing potential greatness but I know CP can fill the WR position with numerous college guys who have already showed they can play. If this is a money issue. You give the $ to the OL/DL 100 percent of the time over a skill position.

Hear me out....

Something something, whatever Yak said about Seaton.

He commits to CU on signing day!
This. No reason to write this off unless CU coaches are saying it’s over. Have people already forgotten what happened two days ago? Who’s to say this isn’t the same thing - a ruse to create a huge splash?

The coaches can't say it's over. They can't comment at all. Best to just move on and if he changes his mind last minute, great.

Why commit in the first place?
We've heard about the number of flips coming for awhile now. The market is getting more competitive (and expensive) all the time.

The thing that makes me question this is him talking about schools needing a spot to open up. If they don't have a spot for him, they're definitely not offering a bag yet.

Folks, this is 1000% a bag issue. He's going to the highest bidder, period.

CU knew about this issue.
LOL if it's a bag issue, why is he talking about Texas and Washington being his two top schools when they don't even have a spot open for him? I don't think they are going to be offering him money if they don't even want to open a spot up for him.

I mean CU couldn’t compete as far as bags go with UTerus, ever. I feel like UW is going to be pretty mid in the B1G, like a good Wisconsin ceiling. So, as long as tOSU, Michigan, and possibly Pen State keep the status quo up, that conference is what it is.

That said, by the time Butler’s college career is up, CU will be a player in the CFP.
