QBs are usually good students but not always. Sometimes they are much more focused on football (or in the case of one of our former QBs social life in his frat) and the let grades slip. That player was K Salter, and he is a C Student that has work to do by the Fall. Denzel jokingly called him the kicker. His brother is a very good student, and Denzel simply said that everybody needs to help everybody. I just rewatched the WOM video and they edited the part where they show K Salter. It happened. I wish him luck cause we need him, but not being a good student and being a QB is odd, because most QB's are quite smart, and we all know that Juju graduated High School in 2.5 years and was honor roll.
mana taimani has been running at right tackle. crisler at right guard. cash at center. lg harden (who started there last year)
Anyone worried about Salter’s grades…Lamar Jackson is dumber than a box of rocks.QBs are usually good students but not always. Sometimes they are much more focused on football (or in the case of one of our former QBs social life in his frat) and the let grades slip.
Somehow I never got the impression that academics were a high priority at Liberty in the football program. Lots of guys majoring in eligibility.
Prime knew what his grades were coming in and he isn't going to bring in a guy who he doesn't have confidence can not only do the classroom but meet his high standards. It would be no surprise if Salter becomes at least a solid B student in Boulder.
Taimani is ass. If he’s playing at all, we’re going to be bad up front

Y is the other slot. My bet is A is being used instead of H which is its own designation for TE packages. We used A on occasion to designate "hybrid" players we could use as the RB and/or flex out to a receiver position. I'm guessing that's the case here.Never heard of it referred to as that, thought that was the Y
That would make sense with Hardge and Gibson being the two thereY is the other slot. My bet is A is being used instead of H which is its own designation for TE packages. I assume Delon will definitely fit in there as well. That would make sense with Hardge and Gibson being the two there
He really needs to make big strides this offseason, IMO. He was awful as a blocker and looked like a complete JAG as a receiver. I know he was a 5* prospect as an Edge player, but talk about the services missing on an evaluation. He just doesn't move like an elite prospect and kind of feels like he was a guy who reached his physical peak in late high school, dominated everybody and never really progressed when he got to college.Don’t realize Smalls was coming back. He isn’t great but at least serviceable at TE
I think Drelon is going to be an All-Big 12 player and become a nationally known name next season.I assume Delon will definitely fit in there as well.
Seeing and hearing about what they want this offense to be now that SS2 is gone, I'm guessing the coaches are praying for somebody, anybody to show out and supplant Smalls at TE1. The TE HAS TO BE a threat in the new scheme. He really needs to make big strides this offseason, IMO. He was awful as a blocker and looked like a complete JAG as a receiver. I'm all for Atkins being that guy, and I assume that's what their plan is, but they were a lock for Caleb Odom until Ole Miss threw the bag at him at the 11th hour. This offense really needed that Evan Engram type of big bodied receiving TE and they just don't have it.Seeing and hearing about what they want this offense to be now that SS2 is gone, I'm guessing the coaches are praying for somebody, anybody to show out and supplant Smalls at TE1. Wait! Are you telling me having had a C average means I, err, someone was a bad student? To me, in golf parlance, “C” is par, “B” is birdie and “A” is an eagle! That player was K Salter, and he is a C Student that has work to do by the Fall. Denzel jokingly called him the kicker. I agree with this 100000%, but it seems like he's holding down a spot for Houston, one of the youngsters or a transfer. Dude will not start come August.Taimani is ass. If he’s playing at all, we’re going to be bad up front
Yeah, I couldn’t crack a 3.0 (although to be fair, I didn’t have a network of tutors and top of the line study facilities). I wonder what I could have done with my life if maybe I could have.Wait! Total guess but Norfolk State makes senseNah, if I had to guess it'd be an HBCU or something.
Also, CU pro day on NFL Network.

I could also see Bowling Green now that Eddie George is there. He was interviewed the other day and said he spoke with Prime multiple times about the job and moving up to D1.Total guess but Norfolk State makes sense
This is honestly what spring games should become. It works at the HS and Pro levels, why not college.I could also see Bowling Green now that Eddie George is there. He was interviewed the other day and said he spoke with Prime multiple times about the job and moving up to D1.
College football has the chance to truly rival the NFL a decade from now, but it requires adults all coming together and making decisions that are in the best interests of the collective group and not a handful of individual entities, which means it likely won't happen. This is honestly what spring games should become. I'm not sure. I do know that at every level other than D1, intersquad scrimmages have been happening for a while. The RMAC schools all end Spring ball with it and so did my son's team.Aren’t there rules about inter-squad scrimmages? I thought there were NCAA rules against this type of thing
