Anyone think that BB had a passion or career aspiration for being a college football coach?
He wants an NFL job and the Shula record, but it didn't materialize, he needed to stay active & current, UNC offered a great financial deal, and an opportunity for him to set things up and then install his son into the HC job when he leaves.
You're probably right, but it feels like UNC is going to see a ton of players hit the portal if/when he bails as HC. Nobody gives a **** about his son, they are going there for him.
Also, the whole situation with the 24 year old girlfriend is really weird. Hard Knocks was about to start filming for their college version of the show and she supposedly demanded that she have full control of the production and editing, to which they laughed and told her to pound sand and UNC is no longer being featured on the show. I wonder who, specifically, banned her from being around the program? Figured BB would have the keys to UNC football, but apparently not.

Very weird. In addition to the above there was the fisherman/mermaid picture, the yoga pose on the beach, the whole CBS interview mess, her previous boyfriend was 62, and then the reports that she bought all these million dollar properties in the Boston area. Early today a report came out that she was banned from the UNC facility but then a few hours later UNC released a statement saying that is not the case. What a cluster. Then there's the story of her mom running a sex shop and museum somewhere up in New England. I may have even missed a few things.
I wouldn't at all be surprised if he never coaches a game at UNC.
