"CU is going to be known as a basketball school pretty soon," Brian Hopkins, Jaron's father and AAU coach, said with a laugh. "So it won't matter."
This truly turned my weekend around. I can't remember a time when we have as much talent on the roster as we do now. Jaron is coming into a great situation, he has the opportunity to get playing time ( and we know he will because of his defense) without the pressure of having to carry the team.
Get your season tickets now folks because they might be way too tough to get if you wait a few years.
What are the NCAA rules for attending a game? I would never try to talk to Jaron, but I assume a CU shirt is fine?
You can also yell GO BUFFS. :nod:Yeah. You can go to a game and wear a CU shirt.
Hopkins is a very athletic and exciting wing guard who excels in transition. He can get to the rim and will provide some athletic completions in traffic. Hopkins slashes from the wing in the half-court set, where he can get deep in the lane over through or around defenders with ease.
Hopkins can also rebound and push the ball on defense where he applies immediate pressure off the bounce. He will need to continue to work on his jumper and extend his range so that it is a respectable weapon, but this athletic slasher has a excellent first step to get an immediate advantage.
....Hopkins' athletic ability and versatility will be a treat for Buffaloes fans.
