'17 TX OT Grant Polley (Signed to COLORADO)

I think it actually starts tomorrow. I believe it is the semi final that starts next week.
You're right, my bad.
Phase Three Voting Period: The eight (8) Players who advance from the Phase Two Voting
Period will be featured on the Website (as described above in brackets) between November 2,
2016 at 12:00 p.m. Central Time and November 8, 2016 at 11:59 a.m. Central Time (the “Phase
Three Voting Period”). During the Phase Three Voting Period, individuals will be invited to
visit the Website and vote one (1) time per browser session per day. The Player in each match-up
bracket with the most valid votes during the Phase Three Voting Period, as determined by the
Administrator, will have the opportunity to move on to the next phase.

Tip of the hat for the efforts of the allbuffs ministry of ballot stuffing.

Woot! Celebrating the moment, going to sleep fast, and then join up with you bastards in the morning to conquer Polley's next battle.

Gahhhhh!

Voting starts at noon central, so I'll be joining in after work.

Along with his hometown love, Polley has felt a lot of support from his new Colorado family, which he attributes to his success in the vote.
“They help a lot,” Polley said. “Buff nation are crazy about football and it’s nice to interact with them. It’s very important because other than them, my area influence is just here in Denton. Even though I’m one of the more known recruits, I’m not that popular. It’s going to be hard going against some of the top players in the nation.”

Alright, I installed another browser, vote, clean history, reload, vote. Working so far.

I get the feeling that clearing the cookies lets you vote again, but it doesn't seem to be counting the vote. I'll vote a number of times in firefox doing this, but the percentage never changes.

I think they must update the percentage every few min

66.23% now - I can vote through Twitter link on the iPhone non-stop....much more satisfying voting on day 1 to see the Dial move, than on Day 14 and 50 votes moves the percentage a tenth of a point

50.08% as of now

Can I make a different suggestion? I'm a little worn out after the voting in the last round. How about this:

1) Let it ride, let it ride, let it ride
2) Watch how bad the ratio gets
3) Let the opponent believe there is no reason to lay 1000's upon 1000's of votes for this silly online thing where our player has 80% (?) of the vote
4) 48 hours before the finale, attack this thing like a dog on a bone and blow it up, giving Polley the victory without bringing out the full wrath of Sooner nation

They won't know what hit them!

Maybe you can float all of your bad ideas now so we can reject them all at once.

I was going to suggest the let it ride approach as well, sort of like my last minute bidding approach on Ebay. But my math is different (and timing).

Every time we pull ahead, some idiot will post on OU Nation that their guy is slipping and they will all go vote.

We need to just crush them in the last 30 minutes. Vote enough to stay within 5-10% until the onslaught. That doesn't give them enough time to get down to the library and login.

Edit: **** - we're not going to keep up with any approach. Need to get a bot up and voting.

Reminder for tomorrow's game thread and chat:

Post the link and get game traffic to amplify voting.

This idea has the basic and obvious flaw that if they keep voting and we don't, it's physically impossible to catch them. Was worried when I saw the guy's committed to OU, but we have to try.
