Sounds like it.If we get Travon McMillan, is Boyd a lost cause?
Not really a lost cause when we've got our boys Travon and Deion this cycle. Not saying I wouldn't like to have Rakeem, but we got some Buffs in our backfield now, too.Sounds like it.
It'd be nice, but I think his credits are a hindrance. McMillan can have 60% of the carries this year. Sooner or later you'd hope for a back to step up in the group coming up/coming in. Phil kept us from having to worry about RB for 2 full years. I think they got some guys that can run the rock. You really only need 4-5 scholarship RBs. Kind of like QB. Only need one per class. We still need Boyd
No. Boyd/McMillian was an either/or situation. If we brought in Boyd, that would mean losing McMillian. They're both looking for an opportunity to be a feature back.We still need Boyd

As I think I made clear, I'm a big fan of Boyd's game. But there's academic risk there that there isn't with McMillian since Boyd still has work to do to get qualified. McMillian has also proven that he can deliver a 1,000 yard season at the P5 level and he's a career 4.8 y/a average. It's just a much safer way to go for the Buffs.
That would be nice. But if the young RBs we've signed aren't ready by next year, we should fire Hagan and everyone above them. This is RB, not OL. It doesn't take years to develop.McMilllian is one and done. We would have Boyd for three years. Could Boyd wait a year before he is feature back?
It's not Boyd I'm concerned about as a sophomore, 3 to play 3, guy. I think he'd be much more willing to do more of a split carries, RB by committee thing for a year with his eyes toward being the feature back for a year or two after that.McMilllian is one and done. ?????so we traded a QB for a RB
