'19 MI RB Jaren Mangham (SIGNED to COLORADO)

I looked this morning, Mangham was a 4 star on 247s with a composite over.89. What happened?

They decided after 13 months of unanimous 4* star ratings for him that in the middle of summer he should be dropped to a 3*. Coincidentally if he went to OSU or Alabama he would have become an instant 5*

Question: why do we even bother with a guy like this? Has he given any indication that he would be willing to go this far away from home? Is our offer merely ceremonial? Unless he has shown some kind of willingness to come here, why bother? I realize it doesn’t take much to just extend an offer and see if there is any interest there. Is that what we are doing?

The Buffs have been recruiting this kid since he was a freshman. I think that had some to do with it to. Plus, who wouldn't want to come to Boulder from Detroit?
