'19 MI RB Jaren Mangham (SIGNED to COLORADO)

Guys, he is supposed to be out on the road this week making in-home visits. All head coaches are doing the same thing.
I think the point is coach Mac wasn’t that guy. He did it once in a while
But he wasn’t blazing the recruiting trails

I look at RB as one of the positions that someone can come in and start at right away. Not just Bc of the position but bc of our lack of a game changer there.

Totally agree with you. He’s 215 now? He’s got 7-8 months of lifting and training before than too. He’s going to be probably 225 by than. I think he will be the starter and he will succeed.

I’m a big believer that more weight doesn’t always equal better. Especially at Rb. For me 215 is plenty big enough, I’d rather him improve lateral agility which I don’t think he does if he adds 10 lbs. Kind of. A Lev bell deal. Got much better when he shed some weight.

Good weight though. With a solid weightlifting program I’m betting he hits that with ease. We’ll see! Bryce love is 5’10” 203lbs so for reference. Mangham is 6’2”

Who is going to keep him from being the number one guy?
I don't like to comment on kids before they're part of the team, plus some will kill me for this, but...

His film impresses me less than Beau Bisharat's. You all looked at his rankings and decided he had to be good, and you've done the same with Mangham.

I hope I'm wrong, but as of right now, I'd rather put 25 lbs on him and move him to LB.

**** YES!

This is the Guy - Welcome to Colorado. You will get to play soon and in bunches.

GO BUFFS!!

this aged well:
Question: why do we even bother with a guy like this? Has he given any indication that he would be willing to go this far away from home? Is our offer merely ceremonial? Unless he has shown some kind of willingness to come here, why bother? I realize it doesn’t take much to just extend an offer and see if there is any interest there. Is that what we are doing?

His running style reminds me a little of Chris Brown. Excited about this pickup, critical position moving forward. If MT wants to push tempo to wear teams out early in games, you need a great HB / running game you can turn to deliver the final knock out blows.
