From what we are told about this young man, Alfano is either 20 months from entering the draft, or being on a very different path. The smart choice would be to start now on being very serious about getting a payday down the line. 20 months is not far away for a guy who's not yet played in a CFB game, or really gone thru a full S&C program period. He's now a year out of high school. If he's truly the top shelf raw talent that we hope, he should be begging Matt to make him a player.

Yikes. If AA really bailed on the first day of training then cut him loose. I hope the kid gets his **** together and decides to get a college degree, but it appears the work ethic it takes to be a successful CFB or NFL player just isn't there.
