'20 TX QB Brendon Lewis (SIGNED to COLORADO)

Odds he is the starting QB game one?

The new coach is going to get a bit of pass on year one as all coaches do. Lewis is clearly the future and starting him right out of the gates sets you up for a better year 2 than any other option, especially considering I think he actually earns the starting just if that backstabbing SOB was still the coach.

My money is on Lytle to win the job early and split the role wit Lewis. Eventually Lewis will take over towards the end of the season.

If schools have their first regular-season game scheduled for Sept. 5, teams could hold mandatory weight training, conditioning and film review for up to eight hours per week from July 13-23. No more than two of those hours could be used for film review.

From July 24-Aug. 6, athletes can participate in up to 20 hours per week (but no more than four hours per day) of “countable athletically related activities.” Those activities can include up to eight hours of weight training and conditioning, up to six hours of walk-throughs using a football and up to six hours of meetings (film review, team meetings, position meetings, one-on-one meetings, etc.).

The coaches need to be creative on how they can maximize the learning process for Lewis to get him ready to start or compete for the starting job. I like Lytle but Lewis brings a new dimension to the team that we have not had at CU since Kordel Stewart.

guy just got named the backup to a senior QB with a nagging shoulder issue. If he did jump into the portal, he really wants out. IF.

Edit: lol BCS
