This team is 20+ points better than the Buffs, on any floor
put A LOT of money on KU.
Is Colorado really that good? Kenpom has them at #39, KU at #10.
I predict the snow hippies go down in flames.
Given how well KU plays in Boulder I think KU would be a pretty good value bet.
Colorado hasn't played anyone but Baylor who beat them 12. Colorado played Colorado St on Tuesday and won by 5. Gonzaga beat Colorado St over 30. KU historically plays well at Colorado. KU's #6 in country and battle tested already.
All that being said what makes me the most confident is Bill Self has had a week of practice leading up to this game. I fully expect KU to come out inspired with their new starting PG and win by double digits
I would take KU here. We will still have a ton of fans at the game and we are the better team.
He travelled. Bags packed, buses loaded, ticket punched. He travelled.
CU took a bajillion free throws. Piss poor officiating.
Absolute travesty. We went to the basket just as much as CU, but didn't receive the benefit of the quick whistle like CU did.
It was a travel. You know that's called a travel at any other place on the floor during the middle of the game.
Really? I thought they were going to win 40 games this season?
Why else would a team loaded with freshman ... whose predecessors failed to make the Dance last year and got bounced in the first round of the NIT by ???? be ranked #1 in the pre-season polls?
At the risk of even thinking of what happens when Bill Self is no longer our coach, I would love it if Tad Boyle was his successor. His comments in the LJW this morning did nothing but confirm that he would take the job if offered.
I didn't think they'd go 40-0, but did think they would look better then they currently do. Especially with a couple quality players returning from last year. Course, I also thought Wiggins was headed there, as that's how it appeared at the time
I wasn't calling you out ... just heard on ESPN last week that Calipari had apparently raised the possibility that KY could go 40-0 ... which is hard for me to believe that any coach would say that. But obviously they were in any case getting far too much cred for their incoming frosh class ... which just reinforces my disdain for pre-season polls in both GBB and CFB.
while the phone starts ringing every year at the end of the season with people wanting to talk to Tad, I think that everyone on this board with brain (sorry ramU) is very fearful of the day that KU comes calling for tad. Tad may give CU the hometown discount and might have a special loyalty to the state he grew up in (I know I do) but kansas is kansas people.
It's the only slot I can see him leaving CU for.
Ben ****ing Mills! His points provided the margin between victory and defeat!
GoCats roots for a natural disaster at the keg, but settles for Kansas pain.
Buffs are really in AZ fans' heads. Nice work.
Nice 5.5 minute video of game highlights, a little pre- and post game, at CUBuffs.com:

Unfortunately, "Rado" seems to be sticking with those guys. Do they call Washington "Ington?" Oregon "Gon?" Utah "Ah?" They also think that Tad is some kind of whiner, probably because of the Chen 3. Makes sense. ****ing idots.Buffs are really in AZ fans' heads. Nice work.

Don't like this
"Deep down I bleed Jayhawk blood," Boyle said, "but now I'm 100 percent Buffalo to the core."

Until Boyle makes a couple final fours, we don't need to worry about KU
I'm never one to shy away from rooting for a natural disaster to take down two incredibly unlikeable teams, but in this case I'm rooting for CU. The Pac12 needs a signature win outside of what Arizona has done.
It's funny because we've heard this line how many times over the last 25 years? Once again, Arizona does the heavy lifting for the Pac.
