Which in his case, would be a good faith effort to find a HC job or assistant job in the NFL.
That's how I read it too. CU's Counsel screwed this one up.No. Read the langauage of the offset. It is written deftly so that the two circumstances are not tied. Jimmy Sexton got one by CU IMO.

It says that the amount owed to MM will be reduced by his earnings as a college HC or an NFL coach. It does not say that the amount owed to MM will not be reduced if he gets some other kind of employment.
The next section says the parties have to mediate what is owed if there's a dispute.
Whatever MM makes at his new job, even if it's as a college assistant, will reduce what CU has to pay.
It will just be negotiated, the duty to mitigate black letter law. I guess MM could try to save some money by arguing that his firing reduced his ability to earn, but I would expect most of his future salary to offset what CU pays.I read it similarly. I just didn’t see a penalty other than Colorado suing him to dispute the scope of his buyout. I am sure there will be some offset. I’m just unsure how much.
There is no way that happens for CU, lol
All it takes is an intern who knows what he's doing.
I know interns get all of the blame when something goes wrong, but wouldn't you think that a 20 something kid is way more tech savy and more skilled in the digital world than your average 40-50 year old white guy?
I doubt they let interns run the Twitter feedAll it takes is an intern who knows what he's doing.

Doesn’t he get tOSU DC when Schiano leaves?SIAP: Oklahoma looking at grinch for DC, according to football scoop.
Maybe - but my guess is there is some gray area here and if HCMM takes a DC job, his buyout gets negotiated lower.
