I wonder how many more years Ralphie V will continue to run?
Blackout will be 12 in October. Rowdy was 11 when she quit running, and passed away at 20. So really could be any season now. The thing is Blackout loves to run, and hasn't shown any signs of slowing down. As long as she still cooperates, they will keep running her. I would imagine the search for the next Ralphie is already happening
Surprisingly Blackout is heavier than Rowdy, but she runs faster. From what I have heard, Rowdy really started to not like running near the end of her time as Ralphie IV. Blackout can be a bit ornery, but when she is in the pen in the endzone, she gets focused and even lowers to the ground a bit. She really loves her job, and has really lived up to the legacy of the Ralphie program.Yeah she sure loves doing that...can't forget her first ever run.
I think it's time they raise the stakes and get a full grown male buffalo to be Ralphie.
