This is all before Hambright has seen the field for the Buffs. Ray came out of Spring as the starter at RT. There’s just no way Hambright is on the bench.

Would be a shock if Hamrbright isn't starting within a few days of the start of fall camp. This is all before Hambright has seen the field for the Buffs. Ray came out of Spring as the starter at RT. There’s just no way Hambright is on the bench.

Their profile links has everything to do with what happened after spring ball. That was before CU knew Hambright was 100% here. I'd be absolutely shocked if Sherman is there after fall practices.Nothing incongruent with the info from CU and what you posted. I was expecting Hambright at LT so was mildly surprised to see Sherman slotted at LT meaning Hambrigjt at RT.
Sherman at LT would not be that surprising.
He did play there last year and all of spring, so that is true. It just seems like the staff wants him inside as a guard or on the right side.Sherman at LT would not be that surprising.

Does it? I get the opposite feeling. The staff wants to keep him at OT (left or right) and everyone else wants to move him inside.
If Tackle recruiting was where it should be, he would be a Guard, but if putting him at LT/RT makes the OL the absolute best it can be, then that’s where he should play.Does it? I get the opposite feeling. The staff wants to keep him at OT (left or right) and everyone else wants to move him inside.
Either way, sky is the limit for him IMO. Finally at a good weight too.
In the big picture, he is probably the most talented olineman cu has, so doesn't really matter where they put him.Does it? I get the opposite feeling. The staff wants to keep him at OT (left or right) and everyone else wants to move him inside.

The last staff did talk about him playing inside and probably will be his position at the next level. I don’t believe Kap has made mention to this though, so you are right.Hehe, why would his team bio say that he will probably start at LT if the staff wants to waste him at guard? It seems pretty common for people to conflate board chatter with coaching intent.

If Frank Fillip takes the next step, i.e. in the size department, that could allow Sherman to move inside.
Potential switch of Gustav from OLB to TE is something to watch for in fall camp.
If a tree falls in the woods...
I now it has been discussed at length before, but I took a look at the roster for the first time in a long while. Allow me to say we have exactly jacksquat in depth at DT and CB. That is all.
Good thing the P12 doesn't throw the ball much. You are not wrong.

Hope? More like pray fervently.Really have to hope Abrams, Miller, and Blackmon stay healthy.
From today's scrimmage practice report. We need immediate help on the DL more than the OL at this point, so I like this move for Sauvao. Two Buffs have moved from the offensive line to the defensive line. Va'atofu Sauvao and Spencer Short are both now lining up on defense
