I will never blame any average person for getting it if they believe it is a risk and they take even minor precautions. However, someone with unlimited resources and control of an organization that is publicly stressing safety and then gets it is suspect and complacent. I had my own scare and was quite worried despite every possible precaution. Ryan Day and Brian Kelly are probably not the people I think they are.

You could almost use an analogy of every great WR of all time and it would fit Smith. About the only thing I can think of that he isn't is a physical specimen.
I would imagine Smith is done for the night! If he goes back in it would be a bad coaching decision. He has done his job
If ND finishes off this drive with a TD I think you have to keep him in there for at least 1 more drive. A little early to start taking players out

Notre Dame does not look like they have a single guy that would be a starter on Alabama? Maybe an OL guy and the RB could backup Harris, but there recruiting of speed is seriously lacking! That blows me away on Alabama’s talent level.
