Teams are still able to practice and workout though right? All that matters is getting in the necessary training, lifting and practices. It does sound strange that they would word it “before January 1st”
Really wish the B1G and Pac 12 would work out a cross conference “postseason” during that CCG weekend for the non CCG teams. Also, a 6+1 for the Pac 12 essentially means no CFP consideration.Meanwhile the B1G announced their schedule while College Gameday was on the air.
6+1 according to DP. Not sure how the Bay Area teams are going to make it work if they don’t get approval to practice and train soon, though.

fixedIf you were Larry Scott half this board would invite you to the Casa Bonita parking lot and the other half would watch on Twitch.

Now they're reportedly not meeting again untill Thursday. Huh??
I don’t think CU has that opinion though. We haven’t been skipping workouts and walkthroughsShouldn’t they be flipping off their fellow HCs, like KD, who want 6 weeks of prep?
Dorrell said it. Maybe he walked it back and I missed it. Or maybe he said it before the 12 hour rule.I don’t think CU has that opinion though. We haven’t been skipping workouts and walkthroughs
I think 6 weeks is pretty much the minimum, no? It’s what the B1G is essentially doing, although most programs kept working out.Dorrell said it. Maybe he walked it back and I missed it. Or maybe he said it before the 12 hour rule.
I don’t blame those schools who want it. I get it.
Edit: in May, he said 8 ideal, 6 manageable. Maybe he thinks differently.

If they aren’t going to put the conference in contention for the CFP, what’s the point in limiting the schedule to 6+1? Why not keep going a few more weeks and do 8+1 or even 9+1?Honestly, from a Pac 12 fan POV, 6 games is more embarrassing than no schedule at all.

Yeah this is totally different than May unfortunately, have to roll with the punchesDorrell said it. Maybe he walked it back and I missed it. Or maybe he said it before the 12 hour rule.

You have to adapt though, they think 6 weeks is normal based on their experience but you have to deal with this differentlyI think 6 weeks is pretty much the minimum, no? It’s what the B1G is essentially doing, although most programs kept working out.

This conference is beyond pathetic. Such a joke
