2020 CU football season POSTPONED until Nov 6th?

Matt wasn't an exceptional athlete either. In his own words, he was a "Dinosaur". But the MF'er could play football. I see Brady in this vein (but less glamorous). Good football player that excels with grit and toughness. That's not a knock.

I am guessing Miller flexes/motions between WR and TE to create mismatches (if he successfully makes it on the field)

To be honest, he'd be the best athlete in most TE rooms. Not places like Florida, obviously, but he's got plus speed and athleticism for the position.

Stop. He's not Travis Kelce. If we get plus production at that spot in the games we're playing November-December, it ain't coming from him or Poplawski.

Is this where someone is supposed to say, "Blocking is important too!"
Ok I'll do it.

"Blocking is important too!"

Lewis not being the day one starter isn't a surprise. Same for Sefo Liufau if I recall correctly.

I am, but as a CU fan, I am also prepared to see Noyer as a 6th year senior leading the way in 2021.

In a shortened season that isn't costing anyone a year of eligibility, it would be wildly stupid not to play Lewis as much as possible

I agree with that, unless the Oline is not all that great. Lewis needs to get his feet wet, but must stay pretty healthy and not be put in a situation where he is running for his life on passing plays. On running plays, I hope he runs like he is running for his life (or for the endzone), but also be smart in not taking too many hits. At the NFL level, I am awed by the new school QB's-- Wilson, Lamar, Murray, Mahomes etc... who are very mobile, yet avoid hits like nobody's business. I have not seen Lewis enough to even dream that he is in that class, but even if he is something close, it would be great for the Buffs.

P.S.--I'm not worried about too worried about Miller. I don't care if he plays as a TE or WR--CU has been in need of a big slot receiver for many years. If he is listed as a TE, and his catches will count towards utilizing the TE. I like mismatches, if they present themselves.
