The media narrative on the Beavs is that they are lucky with hot shooting and poor opponent shooting. This game is not like that. This is a dominant defensive performance keeping up Beavs ahead despite shooting poorly. So, the real story here is Pac 12 parity. WSU and the good Stanford could have made some noise here.

Pretty amazing. PAC-12 representing 25% of the Sweet 16 and will represent at least 25% of the Elite 8. If USC wins and UCLA/FSU lose, our record against Elite 8 teams this year will be 5-1.

It's definitely easier to point to that one singular moment in the UCLA game, but we were the best FT shooting team in history at that point and shot 30% below our average on our way to losing by 2 points.

There's a reason that I suggested after the Pac-12 tourney that Tinkle has sold his soul to the devil.

But now they're winning convincingly. Crazy.
