Kiesau and Bedell gone
More than a few of the SWAC and MEAC teams are really bad, even by FCS standards. Sanders just has better recruits. The SWAC obviously isn’t that strong of a league. You have teams like Grambling, Alcorn State, Mississippi Valley State, etc. that have always had some talent and have produced some good NFL players over the years.
Prior to his arrival, the two previous coaches at Jackson State were 15-29 for a 0.340 winning percentage. Sanders has a 0.764 winning percentage. But, I am certain that the infusion of talent has played a role in his winning, but I’m also pretty sure the infusion of talent at Alabama helped Nick Saban win too.
As I’ve said before, Sanders has a reputation for being a solid person, really introspective and thoughtful, which belies the whole Primetime image.
Sanders would be a high risk candidate, but it would be a bold move by CU if he became head coach.
That’s like the 4th coach, including basketball,WPS.
I agree with that and I’m just not convinced that Auburn is a better job. My guess is that Ole Miss would be able to match any Auburn offer.Idk. I feel like Kiffin has been around and struggled enough that he probably appreciates Ole Miss and wouldn’t leave.
Do it, coward!*Idk. I feel like Kiffin has been around and struggled enough that he probably appreciates Ole Miss and wouldn’t leave.
He’s routinely commented that Ole Piss doesn’t spend enough money on players and football wish lists. Auburn will have no shame in spending vast riches on either.I agree with that and I’m just not convinced that Auburn is a better job. Interesting. I’m surprised by that. You would think that the Jethros that run Ole Miss would have no problem writing checksHe’s routinely commented that Ole Piss doesn’t spend enough money on players and football wish lists. Auburn will have no shame in spending vast riches on either.
So we can’t hire a coach right now ’caauuse…
edit…may not be true.
You mean, “Is he Scott Frost?”JSU is 7-0 so obviously Deion is doing a good job, but has anyone been paying attention to them or their league that can explain if they are actually legit and if Sanders is actually a good coach, or is their league ****ty and they’ve just acquired more talent than the rest?
He has made these complaints about 5-6 times in the last year. Mississippi is still one of the poorest states by a lot and don’t have nearly the donor class of other $EC programs. Auburn’s alumni and booster base is far wealthier.Interesting. I’m surprised by that. You would think that the Jethros that run Ole Miss would have no problem writing checks
A rumor on a message board said Prime interviewed with Auburn already and demanded full control of the program and a percentage of the NIL money, to which Auburn AD and boosters said **** off. Big, if true.Heavy bias aside, Auburn is a better job than Ole Miss. By a mile.

Agree. If Kiffin’s true goal is a National Championship then he should leave. He can do that at Auburn but probably not Ole Miss.Heavy bias aside, Auburn is a better job than Ole Miss. By a mile.
What’s your gut?Hard to sort Auburn rumors sometimes. I doubt Deion or Kiffin end up being the hire though.
SIAP but Mickey Joseph rumored to ASU and Nebraska.
Never been a coordinator. Would LOL

Thumbs down because Grimes should be coming to Boulder.Either Grimes or Chadwell.
You think Freeze is in mix?Either Grimes or Chadwell.
How is Deion an Offensive Coordinator? Or even a DC (which he at least has a background for)? He has at least been a HC. No way in hell he's taking a coaching job where it's not his show anyway. That's a dumb take from someone who has a very narrow and unrealistic POV.
That's one of the dumbest takes I've seen in a while. Really out there several standard deviations. Wow.How is Deion an Offensive Coordinator? Or even a DC (which he at least has a background for)? People thinking Deion is out here coaching because he loves the grind and is passionate about it is hilarious. He's a showman. He's going to be the figurehead of a program, do the interviews, recruit his balls off, and be the biggest personality he can be. He's going to go somewhere that has the resources to pay for actually good coaches to do that part of the job.How is Deion an Offensive Coordinator?
