2022 Recruit Profile Index & Recruiting News

Buffs look to be the 1st to offer this DE (also a T per HUDL) from Hearne Texas.

OG from South Jordan, Utah.
(247 lists usc and utah as the 2 "warm" schools right now, and they have 3 crystal balls (medium confidence) from April all having him eventually choosing usc.)

Also could also affect the 2021 and 2023 classes, but wanted to mention somewhere it sounds like an NCAA committee is recommending (with a formal vote next week) that the recruiting dead period (at least for coaches physically meeting players and players making formal trips to colleges) due to the pandemic may be moved out to April 15th - https://www.cbssports.com/college-f...g-coaches-away-from-recruits-for-over-a-year/

(The current rule has the dead period ending January 1st.)

As was indicated as likely last week (see post #221 above), the NCAA has now formally moved the end of the recruiting dead period out through April 15th of next year.

I have NO idea the detailed recruiting rules, but the article linked to in the tweet does include "Members also voted to permit additional flexibility in virtual recruiting in football by allowing all coaches, full-time school staff members and current students to conduct recruiting calls (telephone calls and video calls) without a countable coach being present.".

4 star DT from Baltimore MD.

4 star S who already has 37 offers, many from some of the other top programs in the country, from Hallandale, Florida.

win this battle and the coaches are recruiting. Dishing out offers after everyone else and not landing any of these caliber players is par for the course. Recruiting coordinator is a douche

ATH (per 247; WR/ OLB per HUDL) from Brooklet Georgia.

This offer was actually from early September, but I didn't catch it until I saw the 2nd tweet below today. A CB from Concord California with 8 offers, 7 of which are from Pac 12 schools.

Can't find a 247 page for him, but per HUDL and his Twitter profile, a WR/ CB from Valley, Alabama.

All-purpose RB from Buford, Georgia.

Tall WR (per 247; CB per HUDL) from League City, Texas.

Edit- Buffs have been quickly joined by Cal with an offer out to him, as they evidently offered later today.

Sorry if I'm missing it, but can't find where a September offer to this CB from Lafayette Louisiana has been noted in Allbuffs. (Note- 247 isn't showing a Buffs offer yet, but Rivals does.)
