I don't think you react that way unless you were counting on the guy to make your season a success. Also, a good reminder that QBs are often leaders because it's the job description the guys accept - but they're often a bit separated (not one of the guys) & it's not unusual for the general opinion in the locker room to be "cocky douchebag who we need to win".

How much research can they do before entering the portal? I doubt they're allowed to shop around and ask other teams about roster spots before they enter the portal.

Just guessing if a school is on a quarter system or has classes that start mid-semester they can get enrollment.

With a lot of these schools they will figure out a way.

Doesn't matter what classes since the players aren't going to them anyways.
