I don’t know that we’re ever going to get an official announcement from Shilo on social media that he’s committed to CU. Feels like a foregone conclusion and safe to add him to the safety depth chart.
He's already got a local NIL deal with a yogurt shop. It was in the YT video he released with his mom visiting town. I don't know why he hasn't officially announced, but I'm not worried about it.
Oh I'm not worried no matter what happens. Safety is one of the deepest positions on the team even without Shilo. I just know we are always talking about scholarships with a "+ Shilo" caveat since he hasn't posted anything on social media. I just don't know if he ever will. He just doesn't seem like that type of guy
I’ve read a couple places that he has two years of eligibility, including Howell at BDC.
I assume that this roster is going have better class balance, and more upperclassmen than last year's did.
Does it also meet those criteria compared to what this year's roster would have been without the aggressive Prime overhaul?

I don't see McClain starting out of the gate but could see him finishing the season as a starter. I think Alabama has went that route in the past where a freshman overtakes the Starter by 3/4 of the season point.
We were at 79, Wilkerson was added (I assume I’m scholarship) but Olsen and Kerry are gone so down to 78 I think.
Love what I saw in the first five minutes with the zone read stuff. Still stand with my concerns about not enough QBs and especially two QBs being under 200 pounds. QBs got to be willing to take a pounding in that offense.

I agree. I would really like a JR/SR transfer QB. Even if they end up 4th on the depth chart because the Freshman beat them out athletically. Some additional experience back there would be huge.

Were 2 more still opting to academic? I thought I read there was an expectation 4 or 5 players were opting to academic. Or maybe I missed when a couple others did.
Ended up being 3.
Hurtado has opted to go on academic scholarship.
77 scholarships with 10 being returnees from the 2022 scholarship roster.

I'm kind of shocked that Gustav wasn't one of the four with all of the new faces at his position.
NFL draft 2024, which of these football players here their name called? The obvious names like Hunter and McClain are not eligible in 2024.
QB: I believe Sanders is NFL bound, but most likely 2025. Possible 2024.
RB: If either Smoke or McCaskill show a well rounded skill set, including in receiving game, and have s good-to-great season one of them could get drafted.
WR: Do Weaver or Horn have NFL measurables? Would be fun to see one or both drafted, but honestly don’t know what will happen here.
