Selfish ball. Wonder what he’s referring to? Maybe a team filled with mercenaries who all thought they’d start and when that didn’t happen, there’s probably some toxicity? Who would have thought that was a possibility with 80 new players from the portal?

Also, this thread is @messageboardgenius wet dream

I had some doubts that they could come together as a team. I didnt think anything malicious or toxic would be the reason. Just 60 to 70 new personalities needing to learn how to play in harmony takes time.

From here Deion needs to take the traditional coaching route: recruit effectively and maintain a good staff. He needs to build on a good start.

I worry that This could be Deion at the top level. Erratic. All over the map.

I was told that Charlie Offerdahl was a CP favorite. I only remember seeing him get snaps in garbage time during the Nub game.

It’s funny to point a finger at who is presumably CP, when CP wanted to run, but yet it was an awfully pass heavy offense this year…when Lewis was calling plays.

A lot of early 20-somethings came in to a 1-11 previous years team of a 20-year abysmally performing, forgotten about program, thinking they could step in and be “the man”. Even if they weren’t that at their previous school. Lots of hope and excitement surrounding CP and The Buffs from last December all the way up to October. I’d imagine that having things pan out in a way that disappointed many of these kids brings down the camaraderie of the team/program.

Prime and traditional aren’t a match.
