2024-25 Coaching Carousel

He's earned that shot. Since Day's an OC, it should be pretty seamless. It's a disaster if this means that they'll cut down his recruiting responsibilities, though. Best in the biz and not even a close 2nd with WR evaluations & signings.
He's been mentioned for a lot of OC jobs so makes sense.

Hard to turn down $6 million per year, highest paid assistant in the NFL. Doesn't have to recruit, doesn't have to glad hand boosters, doesn't have to worry about a player hitting the transfer portal because Coach wasn't nice to him. And he is making more money than most D1 college head coaches.

Also a lot of speculation Chips the head coach in waiting if all goes well. Pete’s got a 3 year deal and Chip has strong ties to Brady from his time consulting with the pat’s and helping them implement the up-tempo offense.

That’s sad for them since he is a proven failed HC. It would be like hiring Josh McDaniels

I don’t get it. With all of Coach Prime’s connections…this is the best he can do?!

Yeah, let’s address one of our biggest weaknesses by promoting a quality control coach to be a first time o-line coach…genius!

Obviously, I hope this guy succeeds, but where’s the freaking logic in that?
And I Oop Whatcha Say GIF by Jasmine Masters

So CU has like 3 oline coaches now?
I wish we had the budget to have 2 or 3 coaches for every position group. These new rules are opening up some competitive opportunities. So different than before when NCAA staff limits meant you had to compromise your O or D staff if you wanted to have a dedicated ST Coordinator.
