CSC is great (and it was cool to watch him sitting on the field today, soaking it all in). But he's likely going to the League so I'm sure he isn't too broken up about not getting the BHA.

To say all-time is a bit much. Wizzer White may have some discussion as well as some others.
Travis is certainly an all-time great and worthy of all the recognition he gets.

Not taking away anything from the other candidates, but when you think of "heart", many times it's the underdog who doesn't give up, etc. Yes, Travis is incredibly talented, but he works his a$$ off, physically and mentally. You can see he studies film and knows tendencies inside and out. He's extremely intense and animated out there, directing defense. He's unselfish and sacrifices his body for receptions/interceptions. There won't be another talent like Travis at CU next year, but I hope there are others with some of that kind of heart.
Cam deserved this award, period
Played every possible snap, led the defense, played above his size, and what he showed and said at the end of the game Friday says that he is a very bought in players. Travis is generational, but Cam has the biggest HEART

Peggy was 13 or 14 when Whizzer played. I was 36.
Some years it has been a bit of a struggle finding a guy worthy of the award on lousy teams where the team itself gave up before the season was close to over.
This year there are multiple guys who have shown heart, and in the process contributed to making this a better team.
It is hard for me to ignore a guy who could be given the award just for his play on either side of the ball much less playing both ways at the highest level, and being a great teammate in the process.
That doesn't diminish in any way what Cam or a number of others accomplished as well but I would give it to Travis without hesitation. Hard to argue that anyone had a bigger heart thant he did.
Travis balled out in a historic fashion, but I actually did not hear or see him really LEADING the team at most times because that is not his personality per se. Cam was and is the vocal and emotional leader that also put it all on the line. It is hard not to be enamored by Travis, but Cam was the rock of the Defense and overall
the team.
Was it over when the Germans Bombed Pearl Harbor?
It is over, Travis won and is a Buff Legend, I just want to be sure that Cam's contributions are forever remembered.
