let's play a guessing game:
- will CU have a Thursday night game this year? (XII had no intra-conference Thursday games in 24)
- a Friday game? (XII had seven Friday intra-conference games in 24, two of them were on Thanksgiving weekend)
- which opponent will we open conference play against?
- will we have back to back road games?
- which opponent do we play to close out the XII regular season?
- over/under on home games starting 10AM MT or eelier?
- over/under on home games starting 7PM MT or later?
- which opponent do we
playbeat in the XII CCG?
These, unfortunately, seem very right to me. We won't get a conference game that kicks at a nice early or mid afternoon time slot.6. 1.5 is O/U on 10am MT games
7. 4.5 is O/U on 7pm+ MT games
Obviously this season was a prime (no pun intended) example of the Big 12 being very unpredictable, but our conference schedule looks very difficult based on how this season went. These, unfortunately, seem very right to me. See, my thinking doesn't even get that deep.Obviously this season was a prime (no pun intended) example of the Big 12 being very unpredictable, but our conference schedule looks very difficult based on how this season went.
The only realistic way we will have 10am kickoffs is if we're Big Noon and there are at least 2-3 conference games I could see Fox wanting (ASU, KSU, BYU and maybe ISU). Any of those are also realistic Friday/Saturday night games on ESPN, along with West Virginia and Utah.
Well Fox's (the entirety of CFB TV actually) good slot is 10am MT and I suspect we will have at least one and maybe two of those. Fox's "marginal" slots are the 2-5pm Saturday games.See, my thinking doesn't even get that deep.
Fox and ESPN will want us on their main channels, but they won't want us on their main channels during the good slots. So we'll get the marginal ones.
Basically, we're too good of a ratings draw for relegation to ESPN2 or FS2, but we're not a good enough team to pull a 2-5pm Saturday kickoff spot.
1. Yes, but not in conference

Why do we have to be on the road for the last game?We have to be on the road for the last game, and thus I would love it to be West Virginia for the newly created JOHN DENVER CUP
We were home this year against Oklahoma StateWhy do we have to be on the road for the last game?
So? We don't play Oklahoma State next year. Is it a rule that every year teams have to alternate home and away for the last game?We were home this year against Oklahoma State
Ironically no. The Big12 scheduling system with 16 teams is a mystery. It would seem though that the league would alternate so teams would host during the Thanksgiving week in all fairness. The odds point to us on the road, but we shall see.So? We don't play Oklahoma State next year. Is it a rule that every year teams have to alternate home and away for the last game?

The last thing we should want to be is the new Texas in the reconfigured B12Not a requirement. Texas was having their Thanksgiving week games at home going forward before they departed for the SEC. CU could request the same treatment though.
What, you don't think "Entitled A$$holes" suits us?The last thing we should want to be is the new Texas in the reconfigured B12

Rumors from the water cooler are that the Big 12 is cancelling the 2025 season. No reason given just yet, but more to come on this developing situation…ACC schedule is out (along with most everyone else).
Still haven't even seen a release date for the XII.
WTF is going on?
That jibes. Seems we're due for another pandemic lockdown.Rumors from the water cooler are that the Big 12 is cancelling the 2025 season. No reason given just yet, but more to come on this developing situation…
