2025 Recruit Profile Index & Recruiting News

Has been committed to SMU since mid May.

The top rated OT in Colorado (6'6" 275 Soren Shinofield) committed to Utah in June over P5 offers from BC, ISU, KU, Nubs, Pitt, Purdue & Wazzu. Doesn't look like CU offered the Cherry Creek prospect.

I'm not big on recruiting CO for the sake of recruiting CO, but when an OL is good enough for Utah it doesn't make a lot of sense to me that he's below the standard.

I don't follow recruiting much any more until signing day because of NIL battles and increasingly iffy "commitments", but I've gotta say that the four star HS commits that CU currently has (and there are 4 of them) are absolute monsters. Fingers crossed that we bring in all or most of them and also add some more. Go Buffs !!

Not sure where to put this, but after watching 3 weeks of HS games, talking with the coaching network and checking the recruiting sites, the 2025 Colorado HS recruiting class may be the worst in 25 years. It's horrific. That's not hyperbole either.
