They better find something that works and quick because this team will need to run the football.Kam Mikkel has to be moved to RB even though our brilliant OC shot it down at the end of camp, WTF is Coach Faulk doing, get us some backs
Dre Miller has the build and feet to be a stud at RB as wellThey better find something that works and quick because this team will need to run the football.
Control clock and play defense. Gonna look a lot different than last year.
Agreed but I think he has the potential to be too good to move away from WRDre Miller has the build and feet to be a stud at RB as well
This statement being true really hit home for me how football has evolved and changed. I don't think I have completely wrapped my head around a great WR being more important for winning football games than a great RB.Agreed but I think he has the potential to be too good to move away from WR
This is the Joker position debate and somewhat of the Travis Hunter debate. You need playmakers and too many top college and NFL guys have no imagination how to use guys. Kam is really freaking good and Shurmur is so vanilla he might just not have the creativity to use Kam and Dre like Deebo. I would have loved to see Travis at RB just for diversion or throwing a pass or whateverThis statement being true really hit home for me how football has evolved and changed. He used Dre’lon like Deebo a bit last year and I think it will be a lot more prevalent in this offense we will see going forward. This is the Joker position debate and somewhat of the Travis Hunter debate. Mike Pritchard would like a word....Moving a WR to RB to solve your RB problems is not a solution
Moving a WR to RB to solve your RB problems is a rare solution. Fify. I agree not many can pull it off.
Thanks for proving my point?Mike Pritchard would like a word....
Easy Tiger. I realize there aren't that many Pritchards out there, it was just the first thing that leaped to mind. I was lucky enough to attend that game out in Anaheim, Pritch put on a show....Thanks for proving my point?
boy what a game vs the vols...Mike Pritchard would like a word....

We had dinner with one of the guys I went to graduate school with and his wife this weekend. He and I and several others road tripped to that game and it was amazing. We hit Vegas on the way out, lost one guys soul that night, and stayed out on the Pepperdine campus. We went through that whole game and season this weekend. Still probably the best roadie I have ever been on.boy what a game vs the vols...

Agreed. Top 3 for sure. The offense will likely be middle of the pack. Salter will be the QB to start the season. Whether he still is by conference play is 50/50 in my book.I think we may have the best defense in the conference this year. The offense is looking bottom 5 if we don't make huge improvements from the spring. Especially the WRs and QB play. Salter has to be 2023 Salter and some. Still worried about the backs and TEs. Less concerned about the OL.
Agreed. But he's not moving. Now others, well...Dre Miller has the build and feet to be a stud at RB as well
Wish they would've had OT back then. Pretty sure it was a tie yeah?Easy Tiger. I realize there aren't that many Pritchards out there, it was just the first thing that leaped to mind. I was lucky enough to attend that game out in Anaheim, Pritch put on a show....
We may have lost in OT. We had the game in complete control and UT had a monster 4th quarter.Wish they would've had OT back then. Pretty sure it was a tie yeah?
31-31Wish they would've had OT back then. Pretty sure it was a tie yeah?
Dre and Kam are physically stronger than most RB's and are both bigger than Dylan Edwards and honestly are both faster. They do not need to be RB's per say, but when we ran the Option, weren't a lot of positions fluid, such as Wingback, I Back, Flex Back, etc?Agreed. But he's not moving. Now others, well...
It’s on the YouTubes.
Edit: A couple of highlights worth checking out are at 2:07:00 and the amazing pitch at 2:19:10.
Carde Smith looks freaking amazing!!!And while we're at it, Carde Smith is hell and gone from 300. 280, maybe.
So bizarre that Ohio State hasn't won the conference in 5 yearsI came across this graphic that I found interesting. There's a few holes in it because Cincinnati, UCF and SMU all won a G5 conference title. It's also wild to me that North Carolina hasn't won the ACC since 1980.
