Interesting. Manhattan will likely be taking a visit to Wichita to play #1 Ranked Maize as Manhattan is the 4 seed in the west bracket in 3 weeks. My son just happens to be a Sr. WR for Maize. From all accounts JJ's return has energized Manhattan after some early losses.

I think that Scalley was basically put in a box by Whitt - "Focus on the defense, try to avoid calling anyone the N-word, and your time will come" - and any impressions he was given that this was Whitt's retirement did not come from Whitt.
