Guess education wasn't that important.Oklahoma
OU is a very solid school. This sounds like sour grapes to me.Guess education wasn't that important.
I think Medford was referencing Bread’s comment from yesterday.OU is a very solid school. This sounds like sour grapes to me.
A. Not the #1 RB in country, Sorry, folks. Just isn't.Oklahoma
Sorry he stole your girlA. Not the #1 RB in country, Sorry, folks. Just isn't.
2. Was never going to CU.
C. Will probably do well at OU as a 3rd down, change of pace Back. Will never be THE GUY.
All that said, OU doesn't bother me so good luck to the kid.
At the end of the day, a lot of kids who visit Stanford don't actually get thru the process of having a committable offer from Stanford. Or perhaps school wasn't the most important thing in his decision. Seems like another RB from his high school did pretty good at Stanford, but that was a different era. Certainly will be interested to see how he develops at OU and how they use him.Guess education wasn't that important.
True. It is hard to watch.I think the toughest issue for most of us is that there was a time when this kid, and pretty much every blue chip in Colorado, would have CU near the top of his list. It’s a hard pill to swallow that we aren’t even being considered for some of these guys.
It will never completely change but guarantee that if CU won 30+ games in a 3 year span we would see a lot more of these kids willing to stay home.
CU could never keep a coach who won 30 games in 3 years. It will never completely change but guarantee that if CU won 30+ games in a 3 year span we would see a lot more of these kids willing to stay home.
Right now from a football standpoint what does CU have to offer (other than early playing time because we aren't any good?)
If the admin actually cared we could easily. Win like that and Colorado sports fans are frontrunners. The stadium would be full and donations would be there. With even competitive salaries and a friendly administration CU would be a great place to coach for an extended time. Look at Tad.CU could never keep a coach who won 30 games in 3 years.
Gabe is Gavin's little bro. Not sure why this was dumped in Gavin's thread.Wait. Is he still signed to OU or not?
He did next to nothing last year while playing in 9 games. Got recruited over and couldn’t hold on to his spot. With Ott getting the bag from Oklahoma we should be back channeling a call to this guy. See if there’s interest in coming home…
No. No. Did I mention, No?With Ott getting the bag from Oklahoma we should be back channeling a call to this guy. See if there’s interest in coming home…
Sure he wasn’t as good last year as the prior year. Was also injured. Regardless every rb in the portal got recruited over other than a small group who we can’t even afford in the portal. Jadyn Ott wasn’t very good this year either but we all saw what he could do two years ago. Dallas Hayden was recruited over.He did next to nothing last year while playing in 9 games. Got recruited over and couldn’t hold on to his spot.
I agree. I didn’t mean that to be a dig on him. Just pointing out that if someone’s available in the portal the overwhelming reason is they aren’t gonna get playing time where they are. Sawchuk showed flashes two years ago and would still be a nice addition imoI have a feeling Hayden is going to be better than expected this year.
