I'd say mainly D, some play on O and don't be surprised if he's involved in the return game too. How many guys over the years has CU had returning kicks or punts that were DBs? Quite a few thinking back.
Chris HudsonBen mother****ing Kelly.
Deion SandersChris Hudson
No. Jumped off the CU player. train. Was just talking about a guy who is now connected to the CU program that may or may not have played ok on both sides of the ball/returner
Do you mean Deion Figures?
Gotcha. Figures was fantastic returner in his own right.No. Jumped off the CU player. train. Was just talking about a guy who is now connected to the CU program that may or may not have played ok on both sides of the ball/returner
It's the SWAC. If you don't play with passion especially as a star player, you can get bullied.Question for @#1 pick I’ve only watched two JSU games this year (SWAC championship and the Celebration Bowl). Hunter seems to play with a lot of emotion, and there were numerous times in those games where I thought he could have gotten Unsportsmanlike penalties. Has that been a problem for him this season? Or do you think that’s just immaturity of a freshman that will resolve over time? Very happy that he’s a Buff but I see the potential for some untimely penalties with his style of play.
Agreed. I think he'll be fine. Wanting to win will make you press sometimes, bullied, whatever. Relax and play your game period. I believe he'll do that. Don't ask about it, be about it. Comes down to it, all about the guys next to you, all that matters. The rest comes with it.It's the SWAC. If you don't play with passion especially as a star player, you can get bullied.
I don't recall him being like this in previous games but in both title games, he was on edge to win. Gotta reel it in
Just a exceptionally good route. The DB could have done better but the result wasn't likely going to be the sameSick-ass moves. Got all of the motion of an out-route, including turning his shoulders and hips briefly. DB was even playing inside leverage. Hard to see how that doesn't end up open almost all the time. One hell of a serious plant foot after the DB leaned. So... he's coming here.... right? Wow.
I used to watch Michael Westbrook destroy people in pickup games at the Rec Center. Then, one day the doughy hapless forward (center?...don't really remember) from the basketball team that we all hated because he was uncoordinated and awful played in a pickup game against Westbrook. He made Westbrook look like a child and I remember forming an impression of just how good D1 basketball players really are, even when they're horrible.Considering he’s a 1st round draft pick NFL talent, that’s like watching pros vs joes
Samsies.I’m really cautious about googling “strapkings”.
I feel like every team CU plays has receivers that do that. It’s the only explanation…Sick-ass moves. Got all of the motion of an out-route, including turning his shoulders and hips briefly. DB was even playing inside leverage. Hard to see how that doesn't end up open almost all the time. One hell of a serious plant foot after the DB leaned. So... he's coming here.... right? Wow.
For you old ****ers that don't know (like I didn't 12 months ago), getting Deestroying on campus is HUGE for recruiting. I'd bet 99% of all high school football players know who he is and/or follow his social media accounts. His content is great, and if you haven't watched you should check it out.
Backstory: My 15yo son asked me to take a picture with him and Deestroying a year ago at 7v7 tournament in Phoenix. He seemed like a really nice guy (talked to my kid for quite a while afterwards), but he is pretty short (so I didn't think he was a former NFL player), and he didn't look like any celebrity I'd ever seen. I was stumped, so I asked my son who I just took a picture of. He said, "Dad, that was Deestroying", and I was like, "Never heard of him, what does he do?". With that comment, I was immediately subjected to severe ridicule and laughter from my son and the rest of the team (I got vibes of being some clueless dad unknowingly taking a picture of his daughter with the New Kids on the Block in 1990).
Anyhow, my son runs into Deestroying a month later at another tournament in Nevada. Dude remembers my kid, tells him he's gonna try to get to Colorado to do a segment with his HS team in the fall (he never did), and wants to grab another selfie. After posting a second photo to his socials with Deestroying, my son became some sort of cult celebrity amongst his buddies. LOL
Not to Mountain this post, but this is another example of Prime and team knowing exactly how to play the recruiting game with the current generation of players. He was at Jackson State over the summer, so appears he's building a relationship with Team Prime. Love it.
F#ckin kickers....Here is a link to his Wiki page. Apparently he was one of the reasons NIL is now in place.

Thank you for confirming that A) CP is dominating in the social media sphere, to the detriment of his old-as-**** peers in coaching, and B) I am old as ****.For you old ****ers that don't know (like I didn't 12 months ago), getting Deestroying on campus is HUGE for recruiting.
