I'm concerned about his ability to get to the rim like that against D1 athletes. But the fact he's trying shows something.

I'm also not going to pretend I know **** about him with those two highlight videos being all we have. I'm very happy with his supposed interest list though so I'm good with it if we land him.

signing him as an upside guy on offense would alleviate pressure on us needing to bring in a scoring PG (versus a solidly reliable PG to facilitate and defend)

Athletically, he looks similar to LOB with a bit more height and verticality. Also impressed by how assertive he is on offense. He'd start and average double digits.
I dove into his film and I've changed my initial take on him. Yes please. More explosiveness and athleticism than I thought he'd have.

Interesting that he slipped to D2 out of HS with these stats in 5A.

Maybe it's because he looked like he was 12 years old his senior year. In all seriousness, he's perfect for Tad's system and tutelage and I could see him doing well in Boulder.

Thanks for starting this thread. Here's last year's stats. A little worried about the turnovers. Mesa had four other guys with more 3-pt attempts.

23-24: 57%FG, 37% 3-Pt (35-96), 18.2 pts/g , 131 assists/96 TO

TOs could also be a result of a guy trying to do too much because he’s so much better than his teammates.

I’m intrigued but I honestly have no idea how his game would transfer.

Ya, I'm not sure of the TO interpretation, either. Mesa was really good though. Finished one game out of the elite eight.
