Hearing from schools and being offered by schools is not the same thing.
He “got to the next stage” with CU, CSU, Utah, Loyola-Chicago, and UTEP.
The kid is legit. Hell, even me (mr. all over the place/negativity) dove deep into his film and could see he's gonna help this team. And you don't know what offers he has, if he told schools he was hearing from that he wanted to stay close to home, etc.
Frankly, he's perfect for Tad and TadBall.

Nothings guaranteed but I agree. Coaches son is a plus, length, good athleticism, shot blocking ability, pure shooting form.

Seems he still has more of big guard’s game, but I agree that he’s trying to play down low more. His 7’ length seems to help D & finishing around the rim. Big12 with serious quality depth on the wing, so I hope his obvious athleticism shows up on D-as well as on O? Rancik & he will compete for minutes at 3; with 1 of the 2 likely 2 earn some small-ball 4 minutes over Diop? My money is on:
Rancik backing up Jak at 4;
Diop backing up Baskin at 3;
& Dak backing up Transfer Portal Big?

I saw that last night. All of his arguments are solid. I get it. But it's such a big jump from Mesa to the Big XII. I know we've seen guys do it, but man...

The weird thing for me to process is the 3rd and 4th best players on Mesa last year were Buff walk ons Koonce and Jessup from a few years ago.
Baskins tape pops and he’s obviously on a different level but weird to think about.
The weird thing for me was I remember going to Mesa State games growing up and they were freakin' horrible.
But did you go to the basketball camp?

Dude could be an all american and it wont' matter cause we have 0 high level PGs and everyone else around him will be swimming in deep water. A shame really.

We will have to see how he plays out. Not that its a big deal, but Koonce and Jessup were also in the portal last spring and ended up at D1 Cal Poly. Just saying.

Huge change under DeGeorge(former coach). Massive improvement year over year right after he took over. CMU spent a bunch of weeks ranked in the top 25 of D2 and many in the top 10. Change can do a place good, but agreed, they were terrible there for a long minute.
You do realize Cal Poly is one of the 5 or 6 worst programs in D1 these days, right?
