What's new

Signed to CU '24 TNFR WR Will Sheppard

In case no one remembers: CU offensive coordinator for our National Champ team, Gary DiNardo moved from CU to Vandy to he HC in the late 80’s and worked on installing the CU I-Bone offense. That first year Vandy’s QB was a potential Heisman candidate (didn’t work out all, of course, but he was a heck of an athlete). DiNardo gave the Vandy QB all of Hagen’s tapes to try to learn from.

I asked this question several days ago, rhetorically, but how TF did we go from "athletes can sell their NIL" to this fan supported model so quickly?

Obviously this guy has issues, but Allbuffs hasn't been immune from fans putting pressure on each other to "give, give, give until it hurts"

Most P5 schools have been handing out bags for decades. The money was coming from a small number of wealthy boosters. Now even Joe Toothless in Podunk South Carolina can be involved in the NIL process and they love it. Crowdsourcing works for a lot of start-up businesses and it works for NIL.

Nice get, guys like him with only 1 year of eligibility left, should be flocking to CU like crazy, no better exposure available.

NM. I saw him get injured in the game and was afraid he was seriously injured.

Thats awesome, he feels like a Sean Payton wr
I agree, don't think the Broncos are going to have a lot of room though. Doesn't mean he wouldn't be better but Payton likes to stick with his guys

Sutton is a lock as is Mims, very unlikely they cut either of last years draft picks and they have a 3rd rounder this year. That's 5 positions locked up.

Lot of chatter out there that Sutton is nowhere near a lock to be a Bronco next year.

They won't cut him and anyone trading for him wouldn't give much knowing that without a large new contract he would only be there for a year.

Right now he is by far their best WR and they need him. After this year is a completely different story.
