Love having early enrolees. Having a spring around the coaches to learn the system, learn how things are done, fine tune technique, and be with S&C plus nutrition is huge. Spring ball gives a good chance to adjust to the size and speed of P5 football.
Esp nutrition. Videos from this week don’t look like he’s got enough weight on him to come in and play right away imo

And yet he’s dominating the best in the South. It’s almost like talent, coaching and competing against the best week in and week out create a solid foundation for success. Go figure. The kid will be 305 by August and will be starting by the end of September if not sooner.

10-15 lbs of muscle in a year is actually pretty ridiculous without PEDs.
Not at that age. Their growth hormones are at levels I might not be able to get to with PEDs. Also, they'll be in a world class strength and nutrition program for the first time.

From personal experience, I can tell you that I finished my senior HS year as a 231 lb tight end and reported to fall camp at 248 while cutting 2 inches off my waist.

I did ~30lbs of muscle my senior year of HS with a 24hr fitness membership and hella calories

10-15 is braindead easy for a guy that age, especially if with that frame and a real nutritional regimen lol. Could even get that in a few months in the right scenario

This,

I put on a bit over 20lbs of quality weight (plus some not good lbs) my sr. Year of HS. It's part of the maturing process and for naturally big guys the muscle can go on quickly without chemical assistance.

The other issue is muscle maturity. Assuming he is still the listed 285 he may eventually get to a solid 320 but with a quality S&C developing his muscles he can contribute at this level at say 295 as long as it's a quality 295. He won't be as physically dominant as a Seaton (who is?) but he can be effective.

Y'all have no idea what you're talking about. None of you put on 20 lbs of muscle in a year. Not real, lean mass.

I'll go with science from people with actual PHD's who've been involved with body building and have taken PEDS and coached body building.

Adding a lb a month of lean muscle is the tip, tip top of muscle development without PEDs. Period.

You won't find anything that says otherwise.

Just stop now.
