We are not as cursed as Nebraska. I am convinced Tom Osborne had satan come to him and offer championships now in exchange for failure later, and it has come to roost for them. Our self inflicted curse was our Administration run amok with removing the sin of Football from the academics
This would be pretty cool and on brand for Prime to orchestrate this as a special announcement.

That's not even karmic. The outcomes that followed were correlated to a series of bad program decisions.
They weren't happy with a 9-3 Solich (7-7 worst year) or a minimum 9 win Pelini (9-4 was worst record). They had unrealistic expectations following Tom and have never recovered. Their punishment is sustained mediocrity. Never absolutely terrible, but never great again. Mediocrity never brings about change, because you are so close, unlike abysmal failure where rapid and dramatic change is needed along with a reset of the fan base.

Splitting hairs here, but I believe Georgia folded the 48 schools in 7A into 6A, beginning this year. So, Carrollton is technically 6A now. For those that don’t follow high school football, Carrollton is undefeated this year and most services (max prep, On3) rank them in top 10.
