ESPN having him rated #2 overall will be great for publicity.
At least half the board had the same question. And the way the team has improved, especially in the trenches, demonstrates it was a valid take.
If Prime thought McAfee provided an unfair take, or a hater’s take, we would have heard about it from Prime.
Admittedly, I was one that was worried. We hadn't seen major adjustments to that point. The turnaround since has been incredible.

The NDSU and Nub games and the way we've performed since show the danger in building via the portal but also how important the 12 team playoff is.
Our lines (D & O) hadn't gelled and gotten used to each yet. Hence we struggled against an FCS team and a mediocre P4 team. But we've gotten consistently stronger (duh) and are now proving that the plan was solid.
I think we're still not there in terms of paying with the big boys. My thought is that if we make the playoff, we're all but guaranteed to play either Oregon or Ohio State. And we happen to beat the first one, we'll have to play the second one. Our lines will be tested and I don't like the matchup at all in either case, but that is why I am hoping against hope that Prime stays and continues his path. Our trajectory is so high.
