Other than getting sacked 5 times and throwing 2 interceptions, he threw for over 300 yards last night while wearing gloves. It didn’t look to me that his hand was bothering him, but he may have taken something to ease any discomfort
Not at all. The fact he didn't miss a game is positive. Give him a little time off this off-season and he'll be fine.

I think we can put to rest any concerns about the ball not coming out of his hand with the usual pop.
And I thought I couldn't like this kid anymore than I already do

Head coach Deion Sanders told Romi Bean of CBS Colorado that the plan is to have Lewis operate as the scout-team quarterback ahead of Colorado's Alamo Bowl game. It's a move that Deion Sanders thinks will help Lewis get better and also give him a chance to learn from Shedeur Sanders.
"Tremendous," Sanders said. "Not only that, we gonna put his butt on the scout team and let him run against the ones. So we gon see if you flinch. We gon see what you got."

Why is that unusual?
I think the rule used to be, you couldn't suit up unless you were enrolled in classes. Have you ever seen this before? Nope.
