Signed to CU '25 GA QB Julian Lewis

Undersized. No way he can make it at this level
Had a freakin' CU supporter and his family arguing this with me at the basketball game. They swore it will take Juju "2-3 years to be big enough and ready for this level." I tried to explain certain things, but they just kept pointing to him on the court and doubling down.

I'm finding I have a very love/hate relationship with all these new fans jumping on the bandwagon.

All the new bandwagon fans who go to the basketball games piss me off too.

They aren't new fans, they are just average/casual fans, who don't spend the majority of their waking/working hours talking about these things on a message board. WE are the true nerds, if we're all being honest.

They are also fans who are used to CU recruiting football players who aren't physically ready to play upper division high school football in Texas or Georgia much less P4 college football.

For many of these fans there entire adulthood has been CU bringing in 230lb offensive linemen, 185lb LBs, and 155lb WRs. Far too many recruits who struggled to develop enough to compete as upperclassmen much less incoming.

That or we recruited guy like the kids from McChesneys gym who had gone from 215 to 270 in 2 years of high school, were maxed out when they got here, and never further developed into P4 level athletes.

Juju, and a lot of the kids Prime is bringing in are a different story. How do we know he is physically able to compete early on? Easy. we saw him play at the highest level of high school football in Georgia (with a broken hand as well) against kids that included more than a few who will not only be at P4 programs next year but playing because they are ready.

We can still expect Juju to physically develop and mature, but unlike past recruits it won't be to bring himself to the level of P4 athletes, it will be to bring himself into the upper levels of those athletes.

juju isn't ever going to be 6'4" and doesn't need to be 220 lbs. why is the internet worried about this? he's a quarterback. throw the ball to open receivers. deliver it on time. read the defense and call plays when you see opportunities. find throwing lanes. all of these things have happened for other QBs who have won heisman trophies and been drafted first.

Yeah he’s built like CJ Stroud. Stroud seems to be doing just fine.

Want another fun fact to shut people up? Both Carrollton and Buford would beat Cherry Creek by 50. No hyperbole.

???

You know Stroud is 4 inches taller and 30 lbs heavier, right?
I was not aware that Stroud was 4 inches taller (looks like 6’2” tops). Stroud is 30 lbs heavier at 23 than 17 year old Juju? No concerns there whatsoever. They have a very similar build. Just looked it up. Internet says Stroud is 6’3” (probably not quite) and Juju is 6’1”.

I hear Bryce young did well at Alabama and the Panthers list him at 5-10, 204 lbs in his second NFL season. I think it’s fair to assume that he wasn’t at that weight when he came out of HS. Unless you’re built like Cam Newton I also think that most QBs will look small next to Jordan Seaton

What did Medford do to get banned? Did I miss a pun thread?
Have you ever missed a pun thread.

Don't know what led to the ban but imagine it might have to do with trying to argue that a legitimate 5* QB who played in the Georgia State playoffs (with a broken hand no less) and who every program in the country would gladly take right now somehow isn't ready to compete for the Buffs, and doing it in a recruit thread.
