Dude
Even with our personnel losses, there is no way we were going to have a losing season next year. C’mon.

Yeah, I was being a bit facetious. But it could end up he’s the qb2 which is similar to “redshirting.”They aren't bringing in Juju to redshirt. He isn't going to be in Boulder 5 years
If he isn't looking at the NFL draft in 3/4 years he will have been a failure and will almost certainly be transferred out to a G5 school.
Prime doesn't play the silly games with players. There are guys he brings in with every expectation of starting and even the guy without those expectations will play and start if he earns it.
A lot of possibilities here now.
Salter with his experience could win the job and hold it all season, in that case we still see Juju play when they can to speed his development.
Salter could win he starting job and as the season goes on and Juju gets accustomed he takes over.
Juju starts the season, is the starter all year but we see Salter in back-up duty.
Small chance that Juju starts the season and as time goes by defenses and the level catches up with him like it did Riola but in this case Salter finishes the year as the starter.
And a long list of possibilities depending on injuries.
Bottom line is that both know that the best player will play, the other will get his chances based on what he has earned. Both are quality competitors who are willing to put themselves up to the job.
Would be similar except that with a prospect like Juju even if he is the backup they are going to be focused on developing him which means they will be looking for every opportunity to get him playing time. The odds of him appearing in less than 5 games are pretty slim if he is healthy.Yeah, I was being a bit facetious. But it could end up he’s the qb2 which is similar to “redshirting.”
I admit to most recently being on the side of Juju essentially being handed QB1. HOWEVER, a few months back (I can't find the thread right now) I mentioned that I had heard they would sign Juju and also make a splash QB signing in the portal. I was told by people here at the time that there was zero chance of that happening because we didn't have the money. I should have maintained my original position on the subject, but it always felt odd that they would sign a transfer with options and only one year left, to compete with a 5* Freshman.I remember when I was told that Juju was guaranteed the starting job by multiple people...
Anyways. Can't wait to play CFB 26 with Salter.

I'm glad to have been wrong with my most recent assertion.
Let go of hell, my Buff brother.Back on topic. Buff**** made believe it wasn’t possible to get a guy like salter and Juju I always assumed we had to choose.
Agreed, Be more like Lama and just start throwing $hit at the wall and hope it sticks.Admitting you were wrong? This is Allbuffs, mother ****er.
Give me a year or two before I make it an expectation. It’s too much fun now lolLet go of hell, my Buff brother.
